Walking into a new salon can feel a little intimidating, and we want you to know from the moment you arrive, you’re in a space created for comfort, care, and connection.

When you come in for your first appointment you will be warmly greeted and guided through a through consulation. We can talk about your hair history, your hair goals, your lifestyle, what you love (and don’t love) about your current look. We believe beautiful results start with listening.

During your visit we want you to truly relax and enjoy your time with us. Please feel free to help yourself to our snack and drink station, it’s there for you! If you’re chilly we have cozy blankets ready. If you’re warm, we have fans. Running low on battery? We have phone chargers available so you can stay connected and unwind.

Your Questions, Answered

  • At the bottom of each stylist’s bio we have their individual prices listed for each service. However, if you would like to know an exact estimate your stylist can give you one before getting started or if you would feel more comfortable we can set you up a consultation ahead of time to go over pricing and get a game plan together.

  • Absolutely, if you would like to talk to your stlyist ahead of time we can set up a consultation to talk face to face or you can email us at oliveandoakhair@gmail.com with your information and we can have your stylist reach out to you.

  • We use all Redken color.

    We mostly use Redken + Pureology products. We also offer some Biolage and Brazillian Blowout products.

  • As a courtesy we attempt to email and text you 2 business days prior to your appointment. However, if we are unable to reach you, please understand that it is your responsibility to remember your appointment, to avoid late arrivals, missed appointments, and cancellation fees. 

    We kindly ask that you give us more that 24 hours notice when you cancel or reschedule your appointment. Missed appointments and last minute cancellations leave gaps in our schedule that cannot be filled and ultimately affect our stylist revenue. If for any reason you cancel within 24 hours or do not show up to your appointment you will be charged a $50 rescheduling fee.

  • No, you do not need to have freshly washed hair, but please make sure your hair is dry and there is no excess buildup so the color can effectively penetrate.

  • Not at all. Come how feel comfortable. If that means comfy clothes and no makeup or business casual because you’re heading straight to your appointment from work. We love you just how you are.

  • If you’re running behind please call the salon and let us know. We can normally accommodate anything less than 15 minutes. However, anything more might require rescheduling.

  • Yes, you can bring a friend and/or your child. We just ask that for the safety of your children and to ensure that you and our other guests are able to relax that all children are supervised by an adult.
